So tonight as I sit thinking about my amazing friends, it blows my mind that I can have the friends that I have. After moving to Nashville and then moving back I am so thankful for the friends that I have. Friends that stick by you through the thick and thin. Those who know you and still like you! Those who give you a shoulder to cry on. Friends that love you for just being you. Friends that know when to give you a hug, or that call at the right time. I mean seriously have you ever just had one of those days that the right person just calls at the right time. When I lived in Nashville, I had those friends that would call when I was at my lowest and thought I wasn’t going to make it, I knew I was there because God sent me there and because I was doing what He had called me to do but it was still hard. I left here and went there with no friends. I had 2 that I could count on there, but we all worked so much that I never saw them. So when those friends called it was God in human form telling me that it was going to be okay and that I was doing a great job and that they were proud of me. So do your friend a favor if they pop in your head, shoot them an email or give them a phone call, or heaven forbid the old fashioned way and mail them a card! I saved every card that I got in the mail when I lived there. You never know that your voice could be just what they need to hear!
